Here at Tyréns, we have our own well developed expertise in rock engineering. Given the geological conditions in Sweden and the ever more extensive construction taking place in rock, we feel it goes without saying that we should have a separate department that deals with issues involving rock. We have broad practical and theoretical expertise concerning rock, and at the same time we have access to Tyréns’ collective knowledge from other areas of expertise in major and compiled projects. Our commissions can cover the entire chain from preliminary surveys, via work plans and construction plans, to construction and project management.
With our expertise in Rock Engineering, we offer complete solutions with specialist staff for each individual element of any commission. We do everything: from field surveys and preliminary surveys, geophysical surveys, BIPS surveys of boreholes, extraction processes, issues relating to permits and notifications, inspections of rock excavations and inspection programmes for tunnels, rock chambers and rock cuttings to more extensive research and survey projects. We also have a number of commissions involving practical construction and project management. Our clients include the Swedish National Rail Administration, the Swedish Road Administration, Telia Sonera, Svensk Kärnbränslehantering AB (SKB) and individual municipalities.
